Flavour profile

Jesus his farm is called El Aguacate, after an enormous, old avocado tree that grows on their land (aguacate means avocado.) This avocado tree, and its younger siblings, shade the coffee plants, and bring in a bit of extra income for the family.

Guatemalan coffee is typically clean, with a medium/light body. El Aguacate is super clean. But, the body is surprisingly thick, almost as thick as a honey processed coffee. Also the flavour characteristics of this washed coffee are more in line of a honey processed coffee

You can expect a cup full of rasberries, hazelnut and dark chocolate

All of our coffees are roasted to order and shipped whole bean to ensure maximum freshness.

Story

The region El Aguacate inhabits is characterized by the cool air flows, and thick clouds that wash over the land consistently throughout the day.

The Cardona family bought their plot of land in 2008. Since then, they’ve built El Agucate up from scratch, piece by piece, little by little, until it became the farm it is today. A farm that provides an education to the Cordona’s children, and employment for local people. A farm that provides us with meticulously grown, farmed, and processed coffees to enjoy.
