We received a lot of questions on when there will be a restock on our most liked Ethiopia: ‘Nensebo’. A little more patience is needed, but we won’t leave you empty handed. To fill this gap we introduce you to ‘Galano’: It’s a super nice Ethiopian coffee, which fits like a glove in the berry/ tropical section of Keen’s flavour wheel . Might go in the books as one of our favourites from their country yet! We roast this in two different ways, one for espresso, and one for filter.
Bright, silky and sweet strawberry praline with a touch of grapefruit. It smells like a fruit basket which, once opened, you wanna drink every morning until the very last bean.

Due to the rich and fertile soil and the great high masl level where this coffee grows, this bean is of outstanding quality. Described as a ‘high potential’ growing area we were at the tip of our chairs to get our hands on this coffeelot. And man oh man, it did not disappoint! The name Galano is a reference to a nickname that refers to the spanish word for ‘elegant man’. This heirloom varietal is grown at an uncommon high altitude Bringing a very characteristic profile. 76 single farmers contribute to this lot, all supplying the ‘Galano washing station’ for one very lovable outcome. Due to their immensely good quality and unique profiles, these farmers are quickly gaining worldwide recognition. It’s a natural coffee, so right after they are processed. The best cherries get hand picked and put out on drying tables straight after.
