We chose this Rwandan coffee for its flavour profile: high-level sweetness, balanced out with a citrus acid hit and juicy stone-fruits.

Rwandan coffee is getting better by the year, and it just keeps on surprising us! These peaberry beans are intense. The flavours range from sweet stone-fruits, to floral notes, to bright citrus. A killer espresso!

You can expect flavour notes of lemon-marmalade, plum, rose hips, candied orange, and elderflower syrup.

All of our coffees are roasted to order and shipped whole bean to ensure maximum freshness.

Bernard Uwitije recently built a second washing station: Ibisi Mountain Hills. It’s located in the hills of Southern Rwanda, just a short drive from the Nyungwe Forest.

Part of the income generated by this station is given as a premium to the farmers there. This helps them pay for health insurance and school fees for their children. It’s just a small way we’re able to support the 2000 farmers living and working in this community
