The flavour notes start with stone fruit, we’re picking up a lot of peach specifically, then we get the sweet black tea aftertaste of Ceylon. Wibeti has a low / medium body, and a fresh, juiciness from the washed process. It comes from a washing station near the town of Chelelektu in the Yirgacheffe region.

The story – the farm
Wibeti is a coop of about 5,000 small farmers who use a watermill of the same name. Hence, the name of this fruity, floral coffee! We found Wibeti (the coffee) through Samuel Gebreselassie. Samuel started out as a picker, with coffee trees in his backyard, now he’s the manager of the Wibeti washing station that collects the coffee cherries from these 5, 000 small farmers.
Coffees from the Yirgacheffe region have a super distinct flavour profile that comes from the high altitude, fertile red-brown clay, their washing method, and long fermentation in water tanks.
