Flavour profile

This natural coffee is super clean and strikingly juicy. Ye Genet has floral and fruity tasting notes that fluctuate depending on the temperature at which it’s served. We tasted lavander & rose, strawberry and mandarin. We were surprised by an overall finish that’s reminiscent of tea.

The coffee is from a new washing station in Guji, located in Genet. It is owned by Tsegaye Hagos, who has successfully produced high quality coffees at the Sasaba station.

All of our coffees are roasted to order and shipped whole bean to ensure maximum freshness.

Today, the Genet Washing Station gives back to and invests in their community, and provides small holders with the financial incentive to deliver high quality cherries. They are currently building a school building for the children of the coffee community.
