Since day one, working close with André and Nathalia From Jaguara Coffee has been a major pleasure to us! By now we can’t imagine a better collaboration because we are so in tune with each other. They adjust to our needs & we think along with solutions on improvements on their farm. This specific coffee is one of our ‘cores’, which we roast all year long. But did you know we work with more coffee from their hands? Try their unique anaerobic, which is funky in a way we don’t find in Brazil elsewhere.   Another reason that we love direct trading is that it benefits the roaster, the producer and the farmer alike. Because they actually talk to each other, the producer is always aware of the needs of the roasters and can introduce the farmers to the importance of sustainably cultivating their beans. That’s why we (among most other coffee roasters) are working hard to face the challenges of tomorrow, from frost to drought and everything in between. The most important project that currently tackles these problems – and we are closely involved with – is Agroforestry. Agroforestry looks for future-proof solutions to keep serving great coffee to future generations.
