Hand-picked at peak ripeness and slowly dried on raised beds, it delivers a creamy, vibrant cup with layered sweetness. Expect bright strawberry, zesty lime, and silky milk chocolate – a rare and joyful coffee that captures the spirit of a new specialty origin and the remarkable dedication of its people.

Zusammenarbeit

Naung Sam Phuu comes from a small, remote village in Myanmar’s Shan state, where local farmers have been steadily transforming their community through specialty coffee. Since 2018, villagers have shifted from opium cultivation to growing coffee, tea, and avocado, creating a sustainable source of income and building a new model for high-quality, traceable production.

The coffee is naturally processed: cherries are carefully hand-picked in the early hours and delivered to Hopong drying stations, where only fully ripe cherries are placed on raised beds. Slow, even dehydration over 13–17 days preserves sweetness, clarity, and complexity, with meticulous separation by harvest day. This lot represents not only a remarkable new origin for Keen but also the dedication, resilience, and care of the Naung Sam Phuu community. We’re proud to showcase their first-ever specialty coffee with a fully traceable story – a cup that is vibrant, sweet, and full of life, reflecting both the people and the place behind it.
