Danche is grown by around 400 smallholders who deliver ripe cherries to the Danche Washing Station in Chelbesa, Gedeo. Nestled at 2000–2300 meters, these farms benefit from mineral-rich soils and slow cherry maturation, key factors in producing expressive, high-quality coffees. The station is managed by SNAP COFFEE, a trusted Ethiopian exporter committed to consistency, meticulous processing, and rigorous quality control.

This natural lot receives careful, hands-on attention: cherries are handpicked, sorted, and fermented underwater in tanks for roughly 72 hours, then sun-dried on raised beds for 8–20 days. The combination of high altitude, extended maturation, and attentive processing yields a vibrant, fruit-forward cup with remarkable clarity and depth.

Beyond coffee, SNAP actively supports local communities through infrastructure development, education, and healthcare initiatives, ensuring that every cup contributes to both quality and social impact.
