Who said adventure is dead? Our partner in origin sure knows how to take the scenic route. A new washing station in Burundi’s Muyinga Province, nestled in a remote part of the country that’s a six-hour drive from the capital. And that’s not even accounting for the weather! But hey, it’s all worth it for the silky smooth coffee that awaits us. With a new wet mill on the horizon, we can look forward to fully washed coffees as well. Plus, we’re making life easier for small farmers in the area who used to have to trek 20km just to process their cherry. Here’s to quality coffee and good deeds!

Taste

This coffee is one-of-a-kind! The juicy sweetness of ripe plum takes center stage, followed by the deep, velvety notes of black cherry that linger with each sip. As you continue to savour the brew, the subtle taste of raisin reveals itself, adding a lovely complexity to the overall experience.
