This coffee comes from Mahembe, a private washing station owned by the one and only Justin Musabyimana, a man who knows his coffee. Born and raised in the area, Justin returned home to invest in the community by building a wet mill on his father’s coffee plantation. With his own 8-hectare farm and access to cherries from nearby smallholders, he’s putting the “pro” in “coffee producer”. Despite being in a less well-known part of Rwanda, these high-altitude farms are producing unique and high-quality beans. And with Justin’s organized operations and focus on quality, the results are truly remarkable!
