Mooleh Manay Estate is run by Komal and Akshay, who took over from fourth-generation planter Ms. G.G. Padmashree. Nestled near the Harangi Reservoir in Coorg, Karnataka, the estate combines a rich heritage with a bold, forward-looking vision. Their approach is both scientific and creative: drawing on data to refine farming and processing methods, while fearlessly experimenting to unlock the best expression of their coffees.
A key focus at Mooleh Manay is species innovation. By rediscovering native varieties, introducing lesser-known ones, and even grafting species together, they’re helping shape a more climate-resilient future for coffee. This work not only strengthens their own farm, but also supports the wider community and industry facing environmental challenges.
Through their partnership with South India Coffee Company, who connect regenerative farms with roasters worldwide, coffees like this reach us at Keen. For us, Mooleh Manay represents everything we value: curiosity, transparency, and a commitment to quality that benefits both people and planet. We couldn’t be more excited to share this vibrant cup with you.
