This washed coffee was produced by Maricela Joven Penagos, a first-generation coffee grower in Guadalupe, Huila. On her 2-hectare farm, she cultivates Pink Bourbon and Papayo at 1750 masl with the help of a small, dedicated team. With support from Coocentral’s smallholder project, Maricela is investing in quality – from improved fermentation to drying under marquesinas – and contributing to a more sustainable coffee future. We’re proud to share this lot as part of a growing relationship, and to spotlight the work of producers like Maricela who are shaping the future of Colombian coffee.
