For this tasting box, we took the occasion to roast our El Salvadorian, Los Pirineos (which was formerly a filter only) with an espresso profile, resulting in a slightly more tropical flavor profile than our filter roast that goes hand in hand with its notes of dried mango, orange, and butterscotch. The second coffee in this box is a Ugandan all-star: ‘Kingha’. This coffee might be with Keen for the last time this season. Its clean and fruity notes of raisin, caramel, and orange go hand in hand harmoniously.

Los Pirineos: El Salvador by Diego Baraona. Introducing you to this elegant ‘Pacamara’ varietal grown at ‘Los Pirineos,’ a farm known for its impeccable processing methods. It’s the second time we are roasting coffee that’s been grown on this farm, and it only gets better! This black honey-processed coffee will help you through any day. Expect a subtle yet tropical flavour profile of outstanding quality. Diego is constantly experimenting with his beans, so, if you ask us, this producer is one to look out for.

About the title:
We decided to implement song-titles and other related links to music we sing along (or dance to) as names for each new box. We strongly believe that just like music, coffee is a binding factor. It’s a universal language. So we can connect to whomever shares the same passion.
‘Above The Clouds’ was Isaac’s call. It resonates somewhat in the high altitudes where these coffees grow and comes from an album by Gang Starr: ‘Moment of Truth’.
