This funky fresh Tasting Box is filled with three of the funkiest and fruitiest filter coffees we’ve had the pleasure of tasting: Jaguara Anaerobic from Brazil with black cherry notes and nougat and coconut notes. Rwandan Gicogi Bhwo with summery flavours of guava and melon and sweet notes of vanilla. And Frinsa from Indonesia; fresh, light, acidic and super funky. Barley-wine notes followed by cocoa nibs and lemon zest.

We’ve decided to showcase these similarities and/or differences, by offering a trio of great beans that will help you discover all that coffee has to offer.
This Tasting Box is filled with three of the funkiest and fruitiest filter coffees we’ve had the pleasure of tasting: Jaguara Anaerobic from Brazil, Gicogi from Rwanda and Frinsa from Indonesia.
The story – the farm
Jaguara Anaerobic – This coffee tastes like somebody took your favourite comfy position and somehow made it into a beverage. The black cherry notes are definitely the star of the show, but couldn’t shine as bright without the supporting act of its nougat and coconut notes.
Gicogi Bwho – Gicogi starts off with the fruity, summery flavours of guava and melon, complemented by sweet notes of vanilla. You’ll also notice candy-like dried mango notes, as well as the mysterious aroma of dark chocolate. Kind of like your favourite ice cream, but in a cup!
Frinsa – Forget everything you know about Indonesian coffee. This new lot is fresh, light, acidic and super funky. Barley-wine notes are closely followed by the flavour of cocoa nibs and the tickle of lemon zest. You’ll also find apple cider notes, a handful of candy flavours and the lovely fruity aromas of kiwi and orange peel.
