Fifteen years ago, Florentino Ramos Ccoillar left his family’s potato farm in the Andes in search of a fresh start. In Peru’s highland jungle, he founded La Nueva Florida, meaning “New Flowering.” Joined by family, he built a thriving coffee community. For eight harvests, Cultivar Coffee has worked closely with the farmers to refine their picking, fermentation, and drying techniques. Together, they’ve overcome challenges and embraced innovation to produce exceptional coffee while protecting their land and heritage.
