Dutch AeroPress Champs 2022; like it was just yesterday. Time travelling has never been easier – we managed to get this delicious coffee back to Utrecht (but tastier!). It’s been a while since we roasted a classic washed Peru, so when we discovered that this coffee from DAC ’22 was available again, it was an instant buy! Enjoy a rich and lively fresh cup that brings together the comforting taste of fudge and almond with a zesty twist of mandarin. Smooth, with a cookie-like sweetness.

Brought to us by Cultivar, Los Coronados is a coffee produced by three farms. One of them, Nicolas & Reinelda, who run the Romerillo farm. They grow the impressive coffee together with neighbouring farms Las Palmeras (run by Ulises Collantes) and La Loma. (meaning the hill), run by Hermogenes & Aleida, is situated on a plot of land that’s believed to be enchanted, something we love to see, farmers not taking their work for granted. The combination of high elevation, rich volcanic soils, and cool, consistent climate creates an environment where coffee plants can thrive like no other. Biodiversity which enhances the coffee’s flavor complexity and aromatic profile.
