A new and exciting chapter in our core coffee range: an anaerobic natural from Jukia Park, Uganda. We’ve been on the lookout for the perfect fit to add to our collection, and after some careful patience, we’re thrilled to have found this standout lot.

With a well-balanced sweetness of brown sugar and dark chocolate, plus a fruity touch of black cherry, this coffee is the perfect go-to for any day. Smooth, comforting, and consistently delicious.

Collaboration

When we discovered that the ‘Futureproof Coffee Uganda’ project is partly funded by our Dutch government, we were immediately interested in trying the coffees! Distributed by ‘This Side Up’, they do their best to help Zombo Coffee Partners steadily become an economic motor for farmers in the Zombo district of Uganda, while also putting Uganda on the map as a specialty coffee origin.

What we appreciate most about this initiative is its transparency—everything is clear and accessible. There are currently 47 small-scale farmers from the surrounding washing stations actively working on this coffee, accounting for a total of 18,808 coffee trees. Every cent we pay for this coffee is traceable, and we’re glad to see that the largest percentage goes directly to the hardworking farmers.
