Collaboration

Frinsa Estate is run by Wildan Mustofa and Atieq Mustikaningtyas, pioneers of quality-focused coffee production in West Java. Since starting their first project in 2010, they’ve built a fully integrated operation at 1,400–1,600 masl, overseeing every stage from harvest to export. While the region is traditionally known for wet-hulled coffees, Wildan and Atieq have consistently pushed toward cleaner, more expressive profiles, experimenting boldly with natural and extended fermentation lots like this “Manis.”

Each coffee is carefully separated by plot, cultivar, and harvest date, with meticulous processing and storage to preserve clarity, structure, and character. Extended fermentation unlocks lactic and tartaric acids, giving this lot its signature kombucha-like sparkle and tropical sweetness, balanced with depth and precision.

Beyond flavour, Frinsa Estate invests in long-term sustainability: water conservation, reforestation, and collaboration with local smallholders through the Frinsa Collective. Their work embodies curiosity, care, and transparency – the very values that define Keen. We’ve roasted this lot light and fresh to let Wildan and Atieq’s craft shine, delivering a coffee that’s as thoughtful as it is adventurous.
